The byproduct of this art is for close quarter fighting. The more I studied the art, the more I realised it was about your interpretation. My lateral thinking and questioning how this art could protect myself in fighting situations. The forms we practice, teaches us good awareness. I'd actualy not have to fight. If I got into a fight then I've done 99 things wrong to end up 100% in conflict. Upon realising this, more you study the art. This art should not be learned to mimic the teacher. You are guided and encouraged to develop your own strengths and work on weaknesses. We all have different abilities. If we know weaknesses on the human body, we can use this to protect ourselves greatly by striking these weak body parts. This is why I focus on training striking vulnerable parts on the body. This potentially would benefit us for striking to escape to be able to seek help and be safe.
